Sun PhuQuoc Airways has launched its daily full service flights between Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) and Phu Quoc International Airport (PQC) in Vietnam, becoming the only full service carrier operating non-stop on the route. The service is operated by an Airbus A321neo.
The daily service offers business and economy class cabins, with onward privileges across Sun Group’s Phu Quoc tourism ecosystem.
Passengers on the inaugural flight included Singaporean traveller Yeak Choon Hoon, who said the new service finally made a long-planned trip possible, adding: “We had wanted to visit Phu Quoc for the past two years, but without a direct full service flight, we kept putting our plans on hold. When Sun PhuQuoc Airways announced the new service, we were excited to finally plan our trip.”
Across its network, the airline is rolling out its “Resort in the Sky” concept, aiming to progressively elevate service levels towards international five star standards. Key elements include the Sun Executive Lounge, new generation cabin interiors, the signature La Festa fragrance, wireless in flight entertainment, checked baggage allowance, curated meals and attentive service — all designed to deliver a seamless, premium travel experience.
Following the Singapore launch, Sun PhuQuoc Airways will begin Bangkok flights on 8 August 2026, with further international expansion planned to Malaysia, India, Japan, Russia and Kazakhstan.
To support its growing network, the airline intends to expand its fleet to 32 aircraft in 2026 and introduce Airbus A330 wide body aircraft from September 2026. These investments will underpin medium and long haul development, advance its “Rise to the World” strategy and strengthen Phu Quoc’s position as an emerging regional gateway for tourism and trade.
