TAAG Angola Airlines, the flag carrier of Angola, has selected Unum Aircraft Seating for its 787 Dreamliner business class seats as part of its fleet modernisation programme. Deliveries are expected in 2026.

“Introducing Unum One into our business class cabin gives us the tools to enhance comfort and quality for our passengers,” said Miguel Carneiro, Chief Commercial Officer at TAAG. “This upgrade aligns with our ongoing commitment to delivering a world-class travel experience.”

The airline has opted for the Unum One lie-flat seat, which includes Unum’s Scimitar Seat mechanism for adjustability. The business class suites will also be fitted with Panasonic Avionics in-flight entertainment displays. Boeing Global Services will support the cabin integration part of the installation.

“The launch of our first customer programme with TAAG is a major milestone, and TAAG’s choice of Unum One reflects their commitment to enhancing the passenger experience,” commented Chris Brady, founder and CEO of Unum. “Our seats provide greater comfort for passengers while making life easier for airlines, delivering both luxury and refinement. We’re proud to support TAAG and look forward to seeing Unum One flying aboard their Boeing B787s soon.”
