TAP Air Portugal has launched Airspace cabin on a new A321neo, with 10 A320neo and 10 A321neo aircraft set to be installed with the new cabin by 2029.

The main feature of the Airspace cabin is increased space, with larger luggage bins that allow for 37 per cent more volume, fitting eight vertical bags instead of five, and more spacious toilets with Braille signage.

Comfort is also a factor, with new ambient LED lighting with different configurations to change the cabin atmosphere, and USB-A and USB-C charging at each seat.

Airbus has announced the Airspace cabin across a variety of aircraft types and airlines, including on Air Canada’s A220s from 2026.
