Turkish Airlines has unveiled a companion app to its Planet entertainment platform.
The Companion Entertainment app will be available on more than 100 planes during the first stage, before being rolled out across more of the Turkish Airlines fleet.
Companion Entertainment will allow passengers to browse the rich variety of content offered by Planet before they travel, creating a playlist of favourite movies, TV shows and series.
The app will also allow passengers to control the seatback screens with their mobile devices, by playing, pausing, browsing and controlling the volume. The app also turns the mobile device into a second screen for the Planet platform.
