United Airlines has unveiled its new 787-9 premium United Elevated interior, with the first aircraft equipped with the new cabin to be delivered by the end of 2025, and international flights to take place in 2026 from San Francisco to Singapore and London.

The airline’s United Polaris Studio suites will take up the first row of the business class section, with eight lie-flat seats with privacy doors, an ottoman seat for guests, and exclusive starter options. The suites also include new amenity kits, wireless charging, Bluetooth connectivity, and a 27-inch screen. Guests also have access to hoodie-pyjamas and slippers, Meridian noise-cancelling headphones, Perricone MD Cold Plasma Plus+ skincare, United playing cards, and Saks Fifth Avenue bedding.

Meanwhile, the 56 United Polaris seats have been upgraded into suites with sliding doors and 19-inch screens. The cabin also has 35 United Premium Plus seats with privacy dividers and wireless charging, while the United Economy cabin features Bluetooth and large seatback screens, with 33 Economy Plus seats and 90 Economy seats.

The food and beverage offerings have been refreshed and upgraded, with additions including snack boxes and Champagne Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé for United Polaris Studio, and monthly rotating regional menus, new breakfast breads, bottled salad dressings, updated mid-flight snack baskets, and Aperol Spritz for Polaris customers. For international economy, additions such as fresh salads with premium dressing, more entrée choices, new desserts and a coursed appetiser will soon be available. United has also launched new menus and brought in new dishware with new dishes, glassware, cutlery, linens and seasonings.

“We already deliver a superior international experience and fly to the most places across the Atlantic and Pacific – these new innovations provide a more premium experience overall, give customers even more reasons to choose United, and set our airline up to grow into the next decade and beyond,” said Andrew Nocella, EVP and Chief Commercial Officer at United. “We never stand still and are always looking for more ways to set ourselves apart from other carriers. And we’re confident this elevated experience will take international flying to new heights.”
