Wamos Air, a Spanish wet lease and charter operator, has selected Unum Aircraft Seating’s Unum One business class seats for its A330-200 fleet, with the first delivery scheduled for Q2 2026. Wamos Air is the first customer to choose the Unum One seat for A330 aircraft.

“After extensive evaluation, we selected the Unum One herringbone layout due to its suitability for our operational requirements,” said Enrique Saiz, CEO of Wamos Air. “Our customers will value the full flat, direct aisle layout, and superior passenger experience, while the seat will offer a reduced cost of ownership due to its lightweight design and ease of maintenance.”

Unum One seats feature Unum’s Scimitar mechanism, creating an adjustable seat with an optimised Zero G position. At AIX 2025, Unum also announced that TAAG Angola Airlines had opted for Unum One on its 787 Dreamliners.

“We look forward to welcoming Wamos Air into the Unum family,” commented Chris Brady, founder and CEO of Unum. “This partnership is proof that our approach to business class seating – reliably comfortable and responsibly made – is working. Two customers on two airframes marks another important milestone for us.”

Wamos Air has been a part of the Abra Group since October 2024 along with Avianca and Gol, operating between Latin American and Europe.
