World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo (WTCE) is returning to Hamburg from 8-10 April 2025 with new and returning features and events.

The thirteenth edition of the event is set to take place at the Hamburg Messe, co-located with Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX), with air, rail and cruise operators exhibiting their latest innovations. Over 80 per cent of the show floor space is sold, with companies such as Linstol, dnata, Buzz Products, Catrion, Diageo Global Travel and En Route.

“At WTCE 2025, the spotlight will be on crafting experiences that will support airlines in achieving sustainability goals and providing wellbeing solutions tailored to the ever-changing needs of passengers,” said Shona Thomson, Event Manager of WTCE. “This event is an ideal opportunity for buyers from the airline, rail, cruise and inflight catering industries to come together and stay ahead of the curve.”

A new addition to the expo is Tech Trail, a feature that will highlight technological advancements in onboard services, such as onboard payment, customer meal pre-orders and inventory management.

There will also be the return of Steps to Sustainability after its debut last year, a space to showcase sustainable innovations such as organic food and drink and environmentally conscious amenities, and the Wellbeing Walk-through, back for its third year and featuring wellness-focused products.

New exhibitors can be found in the New Exhibitor Village, including Off-Piste Wines, Sattviko, and Neuhaus. Equally, the Taste of Travel Theatre will be returning, where visitors can attend seminars from industry speakers as well as chef sessions, cooking demos and sampling.

Thomson added: “The travel industry is in an exciting place with a positive outlook for the future as it looks set to reach pre-pandemic travel levels by the end of the year. Now, more than ever, we need to be on the front foot when it comes to future trends, and ensure we truly understand passenger dynamics as the number of travellers looks set to double in the next 20 years.”

Available will be the VIP Buyer Programme, providing eligible attendees with a discounted rate for the Passenger Experience Conference (PEC) on 7 April, access to the VIP Buyer Lounge, a digital gift bag with show deals, and a VIP Sample Bag containing products from Gut Springenheide, Farmley, 4700BC Popcorn, Print2Pack and more.
