Air Japan has selected Bluebox Blueview for in-flight entertainment (IFE) and onboard retail on its widebody fleet. The Blueview digital services platform will be deployed on AirJapan’s Boeing B787 aircraft for the airline’s expected launch of operations in February 2024.

The Bluebox Blueview onboard retail solution, hosted on the Bluebox Wow portable wireless system, allows passengers their own personal electronic devices (PEDs) to browse and order from AirJapan’s food and beverage menu or retail catalogue. Blueview will also deliver IFE to passenger PEDs via streaming, with the content tailored to the markets served by AirJapan.
