ECA Group, in partnership with PXCom and Global One Media, has released its latest onboard connectivity turnkey solution for aircraft.
This is a first all-in-one connectivity solution developed by ECA Group based on its aWAP wireless access point. This new generation of In-Flight Entertainent solution aims at facilitating the broadcasting of pre-loaded and external in-flight entertainment contents on passenger’s personal devices. PXCom will provide its software solution while content will be sourced by Global One Media.
The IFE solution is available for all linefit or retrofit single and twin aisle commercial aircraft, including regional and business jets.
The IFE & onboard services turnkey solution has been designed as a modular & customisable solution to fit any airlines’ needs for providing in-flight entertainment and services. It allows passengers to enjoy high speed internet network and watch high resolution streaming. Thanks to its embedded Media Server size, a significant number of contents are available.
