As AviationManuals kicks off its roadshow safety presentations, the company is offering the industry a unique conference session on how to adequately prepare to go to hotspots and ensure operators have all the elements in place to deal with emergency situations.

The session took place on 27 March at the NBAA’s International Operators Conference in Orlando.

AviationManuals’ Expert Senior Advisor Kevin Honan commented on the session: “As we navigate the evolving landscape of international business flight operations, understanding and effectively managing security risks are paramount. We aim to empower flight operators with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate today’s challenges seamlessly, ensuring a comprehensive approach to safety and security.”

The session’s topics included some of the key risks faced such as aircraft interception, flying over military activity and GPS signal jamming, as well as a real-world case study that provides additional insights on how to plan for the worst, how to deal with an emergency, and how to reflect on lessons learned.
