In-flight entertainment and cabin technology solutions company Burrana has announced that the company’s most-advanced in-seat power supply system, RISE Power, is now published in the Airbus BFE catalogue as a selectable option for airlines specifying passenger power on the Airbus A320 aircraft family.
According to Burrana, two airlines representing 170 aircraft have already selected RISE Power for the linefit of their A320 and A321 aircraft.
The company says the impressive achievement is a direct result of the successful completion of hardware qualification testing requirements, Airbus’ approval of associated certification documentation and successful delivery of the first aircraft into passenger service.

Burrana says its solution is the lightest in-seat power solution on the market (seat-to-seat cables included) and that the USB seat box (USP) is the size of a mobile phone and weighs only 175g.
