Aeronexus has chosen in-flight connectivity provider ASI to equip a 96-seat VIP B767-300 with the company’s fflya unlimited messaging services.

Ron Chapman, ASI Group CEO said: “We are delighted to be selected by Aeronexus. We have tested our Bluetooth services on widebodies including the A380, B777 and B787 and have current installations on a corporate B737 and fleet of A321’s flying on Wizz Air UK, so accommodating a B767-300 was not a problem.”

Aeronexus commented: “When you take a close look at all the options, ASI is the only company that provides a cost-effective alternative to expensive Wi-Fi. The ultra-light weight simple to install BizjetInternet hardware means we can stay connected the entire flight without incurring massive data costs.”

The B767-300 aircraft recently embarked on a world tour with the existing fflya messaging service and in the new year working with Aeronexus, the platform will be upgraded with a new Certus 100 antenna. Certus 100 delivers unlimited SMS, WhatsApp, and Email services as well as enhanced features such as live News and Corporate Mail.
