Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer provided Inflight Editor Satu Dahl a very enjoyable experience on board its E190-E2 ‘Tech Shark’ aircraft on Sunday morning 17 July. The special demo flight for selected media took place ahead of this week’s Farnborough Airshow which is returning after four years’ break.
The nimble aircraft has a sleek, modern cabin design with an impressively quiet passenger experience on board. The flight on Sunday morning provided very scenic views over Southern England and the coastline and showcased the E190-E2’s impressive performance during the 45-minute journey.

The manufacturer also announced its first set of Farnborough Airshow news on the day, revealing that it had signed a Letter of Intent with Raizen to stimulate the development of the sustainable aviation fuel production ecosystem, reinforcing the sustainability agenda of both companies.
