Horizon Distribution has chosen West to supply technical services for its airline and non-theatrical titles. Services include digital asset management, mastering, audio and video editing, language localisation and origination services, encoding and transcoding for all IFE and maritime deliverables.
Horizon Distribution is a recently launched non-theatrical rights buyer, backed by Vertical Entertainment, targeting markets including in-flight entertainment.
Entertainment In Motion executive James MacLean has been bought in to head up Horizon’s sales and acquisitions.
MacLean commented: “I’ve known Rick Warren since his days owning and operating PME. At West he has ensembled a highly qualified and motivated team that I believe best meets the needs of the ever-evolving technical and deliverable requirements in the airline and non-theatrical space.”
