Mirus Aircraft Seating‘s new Agility programme promises to deliver shipsets in just six to eight weeks from order to delivery.
Mirus says its Agility programme, designed to meet aircraft leasing companies’ requirements in managing short aircraft transition schedules, has lead times of almost half of the 14-week industry average and is available immediately for Mirus’ Hawk. It will also be available for Mirus’ Kestrel from Q1 2024. Both seats are suitable for Airbus A320 family and Boeing 737 aircraft.
Leasing companies are also able to provide longer-term requirements, and Mirus says its manufacturing holding stock is ready for call-off when aircraft enter the hangar. In addition, companies who opt for this service will benefit from a range of customisable options to aptly reflect the operating airline’s brand such as a choice of recline and fixed back seat types and selection of pre-certified synthetic dress cover colours. The Mirus Care warranty is included as standard.
Ben McGuire, CEO of Mirus Aircraft Seating commented: “We pride ourselves on being an agile and dynamic business, and the Agility Program is testament to our ability to be flexible in order to meet the specific requirements of our customers.
“The Agility program is available on both our best-selling Hawk seat as well as our newer, ultra-lightweight Kestrel seat, both of which are market leading, lightweight seats that help to reduce aircraft fuel emissions while optimising cabin densification. With a low parts count, innovative seat architecture and an exceptional in-service reliability record, both seats provide the lowest cost of ownership as well as an exceptionally fast turnaround with Agility.”
