Rosen Aviation has released a complete line of OLED displays

Rosen Aviation has released a complete line of OLED displays for pre-order.

Claimed to be a first in the industry, the new product line features ultra-thin and light displays ranging from 22 inches to 55 inches.

Rosen’s unique partnerships with Japan-OLED (JOLED) and LG Displays, allow access to OLED Basic Modules (OBMs), allowing the innovative aviation supplier to design aircraft-grade components specifically designed for business, VIP and commercial cabins. All displays feature 4K UHD resolution, High Dynamic Range (HDR) and Wide Colour Gamut (WCG) with almost infinite contrast ratios.

Rosen is currently developing new applications that leverage OLED technology that have never been implemented in aviation environments, and plan to announce further developments early in 2022. The new product line also features 4K UHD LCD displays ranging from 24 inches to 43 inches.

Lee Clark, Senior Vice-President Strategy at Rosen Aviation commented: “The entire team at Rosen was certainly excited to announce our partnership with JOLED late last year but seeing the end result 12 months later is somewhat surreal. These OLED displays are so thin and lightweight and deliver a truly evolutionary picture quality that must be seen to be believed. Our Design, Engineering, Product Development and Test groups have worked incredibly hard to create a world-class viewing experience.”
