SCIS, the wholly-owned subsidiary of LSG Group, has partnered with SteriFlight, to introduce a germicidal ultraviolet light (UVC) sanitising solution.
SCIS and SteriFlight utilise equipment specially designed for aircraft, sanitising from floor to ceiling. According to the pair, a UVC sanitisation can be performed within 15 minutes and is highly effective at sanitising all cabin surfaces including overhead bins, galleys and lavatories. The technology does not use any chemicals, making it environmentally friendly and it does not cause any irritation to passengers’ skin or respiratory systems. It is also highly effective at sanitising the air within aircraft cabins and therefore fights odours and airborne viruses
