Wizz Air will provide 100,000 free tickets for Ukrainian citizens on all continental European and UK flights operated by Wizz Air Hungary and Wizz Air UK.
The carrier says the free tickets will be available for travel between 15 September and 8 December 2022 with the purpose of helping Ukrainians reach their desired destinations.
Ukrainian citizens wishing to book a flight under this free ticket scheme can do so here. The free tickets are available on a total of 800 routes and travellers will be required to provide their Ukrainian passport number at the time of booking. They will also be asked to show their Ukrainian passport and required visa/travel documents during check-in.
József Váradi, Chief Executive Officer of Wizz Air, said: “Wizz Air is Ukraine’s home town airline and we are here to continue to support in any way we can during these difficult times. Our aim is to alleviate the hardships of Ukrainian citizens.”
