ALTO Aviation has introduced its new 2022 Public Address (PA) and Passenger Entertainment Audio System specifically designed and customised for Embraer’s light jet Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 in mind.
ALTO Aviation cabin systems engineers have developed a PA system that employs a digital amplifier, and 100% fit compatible speakers for mounting in factory-provided speaker locations on all legacy Phenom 100 and 300 aircraft. The solution allows the pilot to communicate with great acoustic quality safety messages and announcements to any passenger in the cabin who not wearing intercom headphones.
The ALTO Phenom PA system with PA/chimes is specifically designed to provide Phenom 100 & 300 operators with an important safety feature that was never offered as part of the original Embraer Phenom factory completion.
The flight crew can make PA announcements from the cockpit by selecting the existing PA button on the audio panel. A PA chime will activate when the microphone is keyed, and the crew can make clear announcements to passengers without requiring them to wear headphones.
This versatile solution also adds entertainment audio to aircraft with an Embraer audio system installed and will provide all the cabin passengers with an ‘outstanding’ listening experience. Passengers can plug in their personal media device or connect to an optional ALTO Bluetooth receiver and listen to music through a customised ALTO Aviation premium digital sound system.
PA announcements override any entertainment audio playing during the PA event.
