AMAC Aerospace is undertaking several new maintenance projects.
At the end of February, a privately-owned Bombardier Global XRS arrived at AMAC Aerospace in Basel, Switzerland, where it will undergo a partial cabin interior refurbishment (pictured), an ADSB-Out installation and an avionics upgrade to Primus Elite. The refurbishment will comprise the re-work of the seats, divans and carpet according to the customer’s requirements.
“We are very proud to have received this project and are eager to prove once more our dedication to the details in our workshops. We look forward to bringing to life the concept of our customer by using fine materials and installing the latest technologies,” said Christian Hackhausen, Senior Supervisor Aircraft Maintenance and supervisor of the project.
On a privately-owned Airbus ACJ319, a Ka-Band system will be installed.
AMAC is also receiving many requests for aircraft disinfection as Alexis Ott, Director Maintenance Sales & Key Account Management, explained: “Despite the challenging times we are all going through, be it the logistical or man-power issues, we are working hard to implement all our customers’ requests and to deliver the running projects with as much a short ground time, as possible. Currently, we receive many requests for aircraft disinfection, mostly on short notice, which we are happy to carry out for our customers and partners.”
