Emirates has announced that its in-flight meal pre-ordering initiative on the carrier’s UK routes has received positive feedback from customers. This is resulting in the airline extending the initiative across its routes to and from European cities such as Warsaw, Venice, Rome, Bologna, Prague, Vienna, Moscow, Istanbul, Dublin, Hamburg, St. Petersburg, Brussels and Madrid.
The airline will also be starting the service across more of its global routes soon and allowing passengers in Business Class to pre-select their main course between 14 days and 24 hours before their flight departure.
Passengers can browse the in-flight menu on Emirates.com or on the Emirates app and a selection of regionally inspired dishes with locally sourced ingredients are offered.
Business Class meals feature delicious dishes including chocolate hazelnut pancakes with apricot compote and ricotta sour cream for breakfast, beef tenderloin with thyme jus, roasted potato wedges and steamed vegetables for lunch, and pan-fried salmon trout with saffron cream, blanched green beans, braised beetroot and polenta with spring onions for dinner.
