Jamco America: Space-saving class dividers sought by airlines

Aircraft interior products supplier Jamco America says that, with the rise in demand for a variety of aircraft cabin classes such as premium economy, airlines are looking to divide classes while at the same time saving precious space.

Jamco America’s class dividers, which include standard dividers, joggle dividers, attendant partitions provisioned for attendant panels and attendant seat as well as unique solutions such as the Jamco America hanging soft divider, provide different benefits to both airlines and passengers.

According to the company, joggled dividers provide more foot space, while hanging dividers are ideal for airlines who do not want to put in a full height divider. Hanging dividers can also potentially save enough space to add in an extra row of seats and provide an opening at the bottom for under space storage.

Jamco America says its dividers have been designed to be lightweight to provide fuel savings and allow airlines to retain the majority of their stowage bin capacity. They can also be installed during regular maintenance checks to avoid additional downtime for the airline.
