J&C Aero opens new Cabin Interior Hub

Aircraft cabin transformation and CAMO company J&C Aero has opened its new 3,6000 square metre cabin interior hub in Vilnius, featuring high-performance production and research facilities.

The company says the facilities enable the company to deliver full-cycle cabin retrofit programmes from new aircraft cabin interior development to its certification, production, and installation.

The capabilities include machining, composite, painting and flatbed cutting shops, and in addition, the premises has cleaning, sanding, vacuum, foam and general workshop areas. The company’s in-house DOA, POA, CAMO and Part 145 teams as well as electrical, livery, 3D printing and sewing units have also moved to the new cabin interior hub.

Laurynas Skukauskas, the CEO at J&C Aero said: “Having our entire team under one roof, coupled with operating one of the most technologically advanced cabin interior facilities in the region, – it is definitely a game changer for us.

“From now on, we can deliver turnkey aircraft programmes that cover everything from cabin modifications and the development of custom interior parts to their production and installation. The new capabilities also make us much more flexible, particularly compared with larger market players: where one takes years, our work can be done in months.

“And I am very proud of our team and grateful to our project partners – thanks to their invaluable effort and support, J&C Aero now has all the means to boost its presence on the global cabin interior market even further.”

The hub also houses J&C Aero’s Research & Development Center that produces innovative cabin components such as custom-shaped lightweight windscreens, moveable class dividers with integrated Passenger Information Signs and the convertible jump seat/aisle chair (Jump Seat Duo).
