Lufthansa Technik has signed a comprehensive Total Component Support (TCS) contract with Hawaiian Airlines. The contract covers the airline’s entire Airbus A330ceo and A321neo fleets, encompassing parts pooling support for up to 52 aircraft over the next seven years.
Georgios Ouzounidis, Vice President Corporate Sales Americas at Lufthansa Technik said: “We are thrilled to enhance our existing partnership with Hawaiian Airlines with this component support that will foster our long-lasting relationship. Through improved material supply and logistics, our Total Component Support guarantees optimal availability for Hawaiian Airlines’ passenger and growing freighter Airbus fleets.”
Lufthansa Technik says the deal also covers 10 converted Airbus A330-300 Passenger-to-Freighter aircraft which Hawaiian Airlines will operate on behalf of Amazon and its Amazon Air division.
“When we set out to find a maintenance provider for components installed on our Airbus fleet, we looked for an established MRO organisation that shared our focus to safely deliver reliable aircraft and components to the operation on-time and at a competitive price,” said Jim Landers, Hawaiian Airlines’ Senior Vice President of Technical Operations.
“We believe we found that partner with Lufthansa Technik, and we look forward to their support of our Airbus fleet in the years to come.”
