Complex aerospace engineered parts licensor and manufacturer Ontic has signed an exclusive licence agreement with Honeywell. The agreement includes the delivery, repair and upgrade work to the MCS-4000/7000/4200/7200 Multi-Channel SATCOM (MCS) systems.
The MCS system, which is compatible with commercial and business aviation aircraft types, provides two-way voice and data communication and is designed to provide continuous worldwide communications between the cockpit and air traffic using two channels of Swift Broadband to provide upload and download speeds of 650 kbit/s.
