Qatar Airways and gategroup announce new in-flight dining partnership

Qatar Airways and gategroup have agreed a new catering partnership which the companies say will elevate the airline’s in-flight dining.

The partnership is structured through a business management agreement that will involve collaboration on passenger dining experiences, sourcing and procurement, healthy eating and sustainability. Menu development, efficiency in production and systematic monitoring of food quality, taste and appearance are all part of the partnership and the airline will also be exploring additional revenue streams and optimising operational and commercial efficiencies.

Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, said: “This partnership with gategroup will amplify the Qatar Airways brand by delivering refined culinary experiences for our guests, in-flight and on the ground in our world class lounges at Hamad International Airport.”
